Hello, my name is Martin Burson and I am a North Carolina native, born in Charlotte, NC and raised all around the Western North Carolina Mountains. I have lived in Spruce Pine, Cullowhee and Skyland, just south of Asheville. I have worked in the Customer Service Industry all my life. I started out in the restaurant business and along with my wife, sister and brother-in- law ran my families Country Inn, called Hallcrest Inn, for several years. In 2008 I earned my Real Estate Brokers License. I joined the RE/MAX Executive Team on April 3rd, 2017. I look forward to providing unsurpassed customer service and applying my analytical and marketing skills on behalf of my clients, I specialize in the Waynesville, Canton and the Maggie Valley areas. However, since I have lived all around the greater Asheville area I have knowledge about many of the wonderful places to live in Western North Carolina. I enjoy working with a wide variety of buyer and seller clients, from first time home buyers, second home buyers, folks looking to up-size or down-size or even those looking for a great home to retire in. Away from work, I enjoy being outside either hiking, doing landscaping or spending time with family and friends. I guess my most unusual hobbies is gathering rock and such for landscaping projects. A Western North Carolina Native, Dora Melton Walker spent 23 years working for Hunter Library at Western Carolina University. Born and raised in Sylva, NC, Dora moved to Waynesville, NC in April of 2019. After a chance run-in with a friend and realtor, and decided it was time to retire as Business Officer in the Office of the Dean of Library Services and live her dream of working in real estate. Dora began working as the Closing Coordinator for The Fletcher-Burson Group of RE/MAX Executive in Waynesville, NC while working on obtaining her North Carolina Real Estate License. Soon after, she began her journey as an NC Realtor and she has never looked back. Dora loves meeting new people and whether buying or selling, she enjoys helping folks reach their real estate goals. Dora has worked with first-time homebuyers, out-of-state buyers, as well as locals. Her goal is to help her clients make the home buying or selling process as easy and as painless as possible.
