About UsFletcher Burson Group
If you hear the sound of a cascading waterfall, the gentle burble of a creek moving softly at the water’s edge, a babbling brook or the unique kerplunk of a fishing lure hitting the surface of a pond, you’ll find me near it! If it involves the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, you can bet this local businesswoman has a smile on my face!
As an area native, I was born in Asheville and have lived in Waynesville my entire life except for my service in the US Navy. “We’ve” been here for seven generations with my ancestors arriving in 1776. My sense of belonging, of being deeply rooted in the rich soil of North Carolina, is as powerful as my family legacy.
I’ve been blessed to be one of Haywood County’s outstanding real estate professionals. I bring vast area knowledge and rich family history to every home sale or purchase that I handle. After learning each client’s needs and expectations, I create a unique plan. I attribute my success on clear communication, trust, my rich family history and the fact that I just love our mountains!
Hello, my name is Martin Burson and I am a North Carolina native, born in Charlotte, NC and raised all around the Western North Carolina Mountains. I have lived in Spruce Pine, Cullowhee and Skyland, just south of Asheville. I have worked in the Customer Service Industry all my life. I started out in the restaurant business and along with my wife, sister and brother-in- law ran my families Country Inn, called Hallcrest Inn, for several years. In 2008 I earned my Real Estate Brokers License. I joined the RE/MAX Executive Team on April 3rd, 2017. I look forward to providing unsurpassed customer service and applying my analytical and marketing skills on behalf of my clients, I specialize in the Waynesville, Canton and the Maggie Valley areas. However, since I have lived all around the greater Asheville area I have knowledge about many of the wonderful places to live in Western North Carolina. I enjoy working with a wide variety of buyer and seller clients, from first time home buyers, second home buyers, folks looking to up-size or down-size or even those looking for a great home to retire in. Away from work, I enjoy being outside either hiking, doing landscaping or spending time with family and friends. I guess my most unusual hobbies is gathering rock and such for landscaping projects. Feel free to contact me at any time and let’s get started! Or stop by the RE/MAX Executive office, located at 71 North Main Street in Waynesville, just ask for the #remaxtallguy.
